So so true. I grappled with this one for a long time. Still do, because of course I too want to be inclusive. But I’ve learned speaking to all is like speaking to no one.
Exactly, Leanne. I think that’s what makes it so difficult. The instinct to include everyone comes from a good place, but the result can be that nobody quite knows you’re talking to them. I’m still learning this one too 😊
